About Mr. Kinnard
Mr. Kinnard brings over 35 years of executive leadership and legal expertise offering a powerful combination of strategic insight and hands-on experience. Throughout his extensive career, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to integrate legal experience with business strategy, particularly in navigating complex commercial transactions and resolving intricate business disputes.
Mr. Kinnard’s deep involvement in dispute resolution processes has shaped his commitment to finding collaborative solutions that align with the interests of all stakeholders. This philosophy is central to his work at K2 Advisory Services, where he offers mediation and dispute resolution services to a diverse range of clients.
Mr. Kinnard has taken part in many mediations either as the mediator, an advocate, or a participant. He also has received mediator training by the American Arbitration Association/International Centre for Dispute Resolution.
Most recently, Mr. Kinnard served as Chief Legal Officer for Harvey, Hanna & Associates, Inc., a leading real estate development firm. In this role, he provided legal counsel and strategic guidance, leveraging his dual expertise to develop practical solutions while mitigating risks. His prior experience includes serving as CEO of Total Trax Inc. and SCO Logistics Inc., both technology-based supply chain solution providers. Additionally, he held senior leadership roles at publicly traded companies Matlack Systems, Inc., Rollins Truck Leasing Corporation, Rollins Environmental Services, Inc., and Dover Downs Entertainment Services, Inc. Before his executive roles, he was a partner at the Baker Donelson law firm in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Mr. Kinnard’s areas of expertise include construction, real estate development, commercial agreements, private equity and executive compensation.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Kinnard is actively engaged in his community. He has served on numerous nonprofit boards and presently serves as Board Chair for the Cancer Support Community of Delaware.
